What you will learn

The student is introduced to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), which are issued by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). These reporting standards are increasingly used worldwide, including in South Africa and dozens of other countries. The broader a company’s international activities, the greater the effect of IFRS.
