PURPOSE

This qualification in Real Estate is the EAAB’s pre-requisite to operate as a Principal Agent.

WHO SHOULD ENROLL?

Full status Agents who aspire to become a Principal.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS TO ENROLL FOR THE  PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EXAMINATION:

  • Valid FFC.
  • Services SETA NQF5 Certificate.

On acceptance of the point above by the EAAB, the portal will be opened for registration.

  • Accredited Certificate on Completion of the Course after EM by Services SETA.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • No refund may be claimed if the delegate has accessed material and/or attended the 1st session.
  • Delegates may not transfer from one course start date to another.
  • Once registered the delegate may not transfer a course to another delegate to proceed with.

COURSE OVERVIEW

 

Learning Unit 1 – The Real Estate Management

  • Evaluate a specified code of Ethics and/or Code of Conduct.
  • Analyze and interpret Real Estate Principles, practice information in the Real Estate Environment.
  • Implement and control administration of Real Estate systems, Policies and Procedures.
  • Implement and maintain legal requirements within a Real Estate business.

Learning Unit 2 – Business & Marketing Management

  • Conduct a marketing situational analysis.
  • Design a measuring instrument to gather desired information.
  • Integrate marketing plans with business process.
  • Investigate the possibilities of establishing and running a Small Business Enterprise (SMME).

Learning Unit 3 – Human Resource Management

  • Monitor and advise on substantive conditions of employment and related rights and obligations in an organization.
  • Manage the capture, storage and retrieval of Human Resources information using an information system.
  • Administer data, systems, payments and provide advice related to compensation.
  • Supervise work unit to achieve work unit objectives (individuals and teams).
  • Contribute to information distribution regarding HIV/AIDS in the workplace.

Learning Unit 4 – Financial Management

  • Prepare financial reports and returns.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and statements.
  • Contribute to the planning and allocation of resources within an accounting framework.
  • Contribute to the management of costs and the enhancement of value.
  • Collate, interpret and utilize financial information in a Real Estate business.

Learning Unit 5 – Real Estate Practice

  • Manage the marketing, selling and leasing of Residential Properties. OR
  • Manage the marketing, selling and leasing of Leisure Properties. OR
  • Manage the marketing, selling and leasing of Commercial Industrial Business Properties. OR
  • Manage the marketing, selling and leasing of Agricultural Properties.

Assessment/Moderation Process

ASSESSMENT/MODERATION PROCESS

After enrolling the Facilitator will schedule the first Online Webinar Session with the Delegate.

There are set questions and assignments that are completed over the duration of the Qualification.

Delegates may be required to complete an additional Language and / or Mathematics Section within the PoE.

Delegates complete the PoE at their own time & pace.

 

Delegates are assessed by means of a Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) submitted to the Assessor.

A final assessment report is sent to the Delegate to declare Competency (C) or Not Yet Competent (NYC).

The report is signed off by the Delegate and returned.

The PoE is submitted to Head Office for Internal Moderation.

The Internal Moderator is brought in to Moderate 50% of all PoE’s submitted.

The Internal Moderator will uphold or overturn the Assessor’s decision.

 

Your PoE will then be submitted for External Moderation by Services SETA.

Services SETA confirms a Date & Time for the Moderation to proceed.

The External Moderator will uphold or overturn the Assessor / Internal Moderator’s decision.

A final report is submitted by the External Moderator to our office for signing off.

 

Once the signed document is received by Services SETA, the instruction is sent to the Certification Department to proceed with the printing for the Externally Moderated PoE’s Certificate & Statement of Results (SOR).

Electronic Certificate & SOR are emailed to our offices. These are emailed to each Delegates to upload to their EAAB profile.

 

As soon as the original Certificates and Statement of Results is received, they are couriered back to the Delegates address of choice at an additional courier fee. Alternatively, collection is made from our Head Office in Pretoria.

 

PoE’s not collected within 5 years are destroyed by a reputable shredding Company.

A certificate for the destruction is kept on file.
