The View from my Balcony in Snowmass Plein Air Pastel Painting skiing A large bone china mugDuring my stay at Snowmass for the Mountain Travel Symposium, on every free minute, I've been painting or sketching. This is a plein air painting made with my pastels, using for the first time my new tripod easel attachment. I did it on a nice evening from my balcony, looking at the far away aspens that were lit up on the background. Soft pastels and pastel pencils on Clairefontaine Pastelmat.
