Jeanne had been competing in local shows in Wisconsin (as Jeanne Splittgerber) starting in 1979 and quickly climbed the amateur ranks as she was for sure 'what the judges were looking for' at that time. We were looking for that look also, as she was on the cover of our WPW Spring 1985 print magazine, and we also did some
