Our research attributes it to the Banjur tribe (currently of Rajhastan) but a few of the motifs and the style suggest Peru.. The fabric and quality of embroidery seems to be circa 1930s 1940s. The skirt's front is covered with a minimal crosshatch motif pattern and the back is fully festive with flowers, dots and little people with long arms all around!
