1760s shoe in bronze & blue Snail a Paragon China CoThis elegant woman's shoe is based on a design from the 1760s; the originals were of painted kid leather. Mine features a buckle in metallic paper, embellished with tiny acrylic rhinestones, each one carefully stitched on by hand. The original shoe is held by the Victoria & Albert Museum (accession 270&A 1891).
